331.41 SHORTCUTTING AT INTERSECTIONS.
   (a)   No driver of a motor vehicle shall drive through service station service areas or other private or public areas at intersections controlled by traffic lights in order to go from one roadway to another roadway without stopping for business usage in the service station or private or public property areas.
   (b)   The purpose of this section is to prohibit the practice of motor vehicles going through service station service areas or private or public property areas to avoid red lights at intersections controlled by traffic lights.

   (c)   Except as otherwise provided in this subsection, whoever violates this section is guilty of a minor misdemeanor. If, within one year of the offense, the offender previously has been convicted of or pleaded guilty to one predicate motor vehicle or traffic offense, whoever violates this section is guilty of a misdemeanor of the fourth degree. If, within one year of the offense, the offender previously has been convicted of two or more predicate motor vehicle or traffic offenses, whoever violates this section is guilty of a misdemeanor of the third degree.
