Commercial Quadricycles and Commercial Pedal Wagons shall be operated only within the designated downtown area identified within the City’s approved DORA (Downtown Outdoor Refreshment Area) unless granted an exception by the City.
(a) Requests for operation of Commercial Quadricycle and/or Commercial Pedal Wagon tours outside the City’s approved DORA must be authorized in writing by the Mayor or his designee no less than thirty (30) days prior to operation of the tour. Such requests must be submitted in writing and include a map of the route, hours of operation, pick-up and drop-off points, and the date or dates upon which the tour will take place.
(b) Commercial Quadricycles and Commercial Pedal Wagons are prohibited from entering Yoctangee Park with any amount of alcohol stored anywhere on the quadricycle or pedal wagon.
(c) Commercial Quadricycles and Commercial Pedal Wagons shall not be operated on any City street with a speed limit greater than twenty-five (25) miles per hour.
(d) The quadricycle or pedal wagon operator m ay safely proceed across an intersection of a street or highway having a speed limit greater than twenty-five (25) miles per hour.
