728.01 DEFINITIONS.

   (a)   For the purpose of this chapter, the definition of QUADRICYCLE includes the following:

(1)   Has four wheels and is operated in a manner similar to a bicycle;

(2)   Has at least five seats for passengers;

(3)   Has fully operative pedals for propulsion entirely by human power.

(4)   Used for commercial purposes; and

(5)   Operated by the vehicle owner or an employee of the owner.

   (b)   For the purpose of this chapter, the definition of PEDAL WAGON includes the following:

(1)   Has four wheels and is operated in a manner similar to a bicycle;

(2)   Has at least five seats for passengers;

(3)   Designed to be powered by the pedaling of the operator and the passengers, but may also have an electrical motor to assist in powering the vehicle;

(4)   Used for commercial purposes; and

(5)   Operated by the vehicle owner or an employee of the owner.
