137.19 RETENTION OF RESIGNED DEPARTMENT HEAD.
   (a)    The appropriate City officials are hereby authorized to retain a City department head employee who has resigned, for a period not to exceed two weeks, for the purpose of training a replacement.
   (b)    The compensation paid to the City department head employee for providing this training shall not exceed their regular salary received prior to their resignation.
