1511.04 SMOKING IN HOSPITALS AND REST HOMES.
   No person within the City shall smoke or carry a lighted cigar, stogie, cigarette, pipe or match or use any spark or flame producing device for the purpose of lighting any cigar, stogie, cigarette or pipe in any hospital or rest home, except as provided by this section. Smoking may be permitted in any room or area which has been approved for smoking by the Chief of the Fire Department or his duly authorized deputy. Patients confined to their room are permitted to smoke in the room, under the proper supervision of hospital attendants between the hours of 7:00 a.m. and 11:00 p.m., provided that such patients are not, during such time, under the influence of opiates, narcotic drugs or hypnotic drugs.
