No smoking shall be permitted in any theatre, motion picture theatre or public auditorium except in smoking rooms which have been approved by the Chief of the Fire Department or his duly authorized deputy.
Any person who operates any place wherein smoking is prohibited by this section shall post and keep posted in a conspicuous place within the theatre or auditorium where smoking is not permitted "No Smoking" signs.
