(a) Deputy Auditor. There is established in the office of the City Auditor the position of Deputy Auditor. Such position shall be in the unclassified service of the City, and the Deputy Auditor shall be appointed by and shall serve at the pleasure of the City Auditor. The salary of the Deputy Auditor shall be at the rate set out in Ordinance 24-97, payable in equal semimonthly installments. The Deputy Auditor shall perform such duties as the City Auditor shall determine. In the event of the absence or disability of the City Auditor, the Deputy Auditor shall perform the duties of the City Auditor.
(b) Auditor’s Clerk. There is established in the office of the City Auditor two positions of Auditor Clerk II. Such positions shall be in the unclassified service of the City, and shall be appointed by and shall serve at the pleasure of the City Auditor. The Auditor’s Clerk shall perform such clerical duties as the City Auditor shall determine. The Auditor’s Clerk shall be paid biweekly under the hours authorized and at the hourly rate set out in Ordinance 24-97.
(c) Classified Civil Service Personnel. The following personnel are authorized in the office of the City Auditor in the classified civil service of the City:
