All electric and neon signs shall be constructed of materials approved by the National Board of Fire Underwriters.
All signs illuminated by electricity, including those made to be illuminated by projected lights shall have connections made to the main wiring system in a safe manner, to be approved by the Service Director, and the electrical part of the sign shall not be operated until such approval has been rendered.
