1311.04 DEMOLITION OF STRUCTURE.
   (a)    A permit is required for the demolition of a building or structure.
   (b)    Permits shall be issued by the Chief Enforcement Official upon payment of a fee of ten dollars ($10.00). The Chief Enforcement Official shall establish specifications and regulations for the demolition of buildings or structures for each permit issued.
   (c)    For each permit issued, there shall be posted with the Chief Enforcement Official a Certificate of Public Liability Insurance for Premises and Operations including contractor's coverage and automobile liability coverage for trucks involved for the contractor or subcontractor doing the demolition work in the amount of one hundred thousand dollars/three hundred thousand dollars ($100,000/$300,000) for personal injury and one hundred thousand dollars ($100,000) for property damage. The Chief Enforcement Official may waive the issuance and receipt of a Certificate of Public Liability Insurance as provided herein, if he determines that the size, location and hazard of structure demolition do not require liability insurance.
   (d)    The permit shall cover a period of sixty days. In the event the demolition of the building or structure is not completed within sixty days, the permit shall expire for the building or structure involved and shall not be reissued except to another contractor for a twelve-month period.
