116.02 PERSONNEL IN CITY LAW DIRECTOR’S OFFICE.
   (a)   Assistant Law Directors. There are established in the office of the City Law Director positions of Assistant City Law Directors. Such position shall be in the unclassified service of the City, and each Assistant City Law Director shall be appointed and shall serve at the pleasure of the City Law Director. Assistant City Law Directors shall be attorneys licensed to practice law in the State of Ohio. The City Law Director is authorized to create the following positions for personnel identified as Assistant City Law Directors:

   1 Assistant City Law Director - Office Assistant
   Each position of Assistant City Law Director is considered a part-time position and shall be paid an annual salary biweekly in accordance with Section 15.18 of Ordinance 81-59, as amended, and shall be entitled to all fringe benefits (with the exceptions of vacation and sick leave) as other City employees in the unclassified service as authorized by ordinance. Should an Assistant City Law Director occupy two Assistant City Law Director positions other than that of Assistant City Law Director-Office Assistant, the Assistant City Law Director shall be considered full-time and should have limited engagement in the private practice of law in the State of Ohio.
   (b)   Office Manager. There is hereby established in the office of City Law Director, the position of one full-time (40 hours) Office Manager, and such Office Manager shall be appointed and shall serve at the pleasure of the City Law Director. Such position shall be in the unclassified service and shall be entitled to all fringe benefits. The Office Manager shall be paid biweekly under the hours authorized and the hourly rate set out in Section 15.18 of Ordinance 81-59 as amended.
   (c)   Director of Law Stenographer. There is established the position of one full-time (40 hours) Director of Law Stenographer and such stenographer shall be appointed and shall serve at the pleasure of the City Law Director. Such position shall be in the unclassified service and shall be entitled to all fringe benefits. The Director of Law Stenographer shall be paid biweekly under the hours authorized and at the hourly rate set out in Section 15.18 of Ordinance 81-59 as amended.
   (d)   Law Director Clerk (Full-Time). There is established the position of one full-time (40 hours) Law Director Clerk, and such clerk shall be appointed and shall serve at the pleasure of the City Law Director. Such position shall be in the unclassified service and shall be entitled to all fringe benefits. The Law Director Clerk shall be paid biweekly under the hours authorized and at the hourly rate set by Council.

   (e)   Law Director Clerk (Part-Time). There is established the position of one part-time (40 hours maximum per two-week pay period) Law Director Clerk, and such clerk shall be appointed and shall serve at the pleasure of the City Law Director. The Law Director may temporarily increase the hours of such clerk in the event of a staffing shortage to seventy (70) hours or less per pay period and not more than 1559 total hours per fiscal year. Such position shall be in the unclassified service and shall be entitled only to those benefits required by law. The part-time Law Director Clerk shall be paid biweekly under the hours authorized and at the houlry rate set by Council.
