(a) The appropriate City offices are hereby authorized to sell at public sale all surplus City property no longer needed for municipal purposes, which property is listed in the office of the Purchasing Agent.
(b) Notice of the intention to make such sale shall be advertised for not less than two nor more than four consecutive weeks in the Chillicothe Gazette and then sold to the highest bidder.
(c) The proceeds from the sale of the foregoing property shall be deposited into the proper funds of the City.
