There is hereby created the classified civil service position of EEO-Equal Employment Opportunity Officer, with the Mayor as the appointing authority. This position shall replace and supersede the current position of EEO-Employee Relations Administrator which position is hereby abolished upon the concurrence of the Civil Service Commission. The job description attached to original Ordinance 10-88 for the EEO-Equal Employment Opportunity Officer is hereby adopted by Council, and is certified to the Civil Service Commission for approval. This position shall be outside all bargaining units, as is the current position.
