(a) The President of Council shall be the person elected in accordance with Ohio Revised Code Section 733.01. The President of Council shall perform those duties required by statute or ordinance.
(b) The President of Council for the City of Chillicothe shall be paid an annual salary of $9,891.92 beginning January 1, 2022. The annual salary for the President of Council shall be increased by one and seventy-five hundredths percent (1.75%) (Cola increase) per year beginning on January 1, 2023. Such salary shall be paid in bi-weekly installments. Single coverage insurance benefits shall be offered to the President of Council with no opt-out payment option. (Ord. 83-21. Passed 12-27-21.)
