709.05 INSPECTION OF DANCE HALLS.
   It shall be the duty of the Mayor to cause the inspection of dance halls, to investigate each application for a license to determine whether or not the dance hall sought to be licensed, complies with the regulations, ordinances and laws applicable thereto, and in making such investigation shall, when desired, have the assistance of the Building Inspector, the Board of Health and the Chief of the Fire Department. Such inspector shall furnish to the Mayor, in writing, the information derived from such investigation accompanied by a recommendation as to whether a license shall be granted or refused, or if already granted, whether a license shall be revoked. Such inspector shall be permitted to have access to all public dance halls at all times. Such inspector shall investigate complaints and shall inspect at intervals the public dance halls and public dances within the City and shall report all violations of law or order in writing to the Mayor.
