The license of any public dance hall may be forfeited or revoked by the Mayor for disorderly or improper conduct therein, or for any violation of any provision of this chapter or any ordinance, law or regulation in any way affecting public dance halls or public dances and such public dance halls may be entered at any time by an inspector representing the Mayor or an officer of the law. Any police officer of the City may cause any public dance hall to be vacated during the progress of a public dance for any of the reasons for which a license may be forfeited or revoked. If any such license be forfeited or revoked, two months shall elapse before another license or permit shall be issued for dancing on the same premises.
