A. Except as may be otherwise provided in this title, any person found to be violating any provisions of this title shall be served by the city with written notice stating the nature of the violation and providing a reasonable time limit for the satisfactory correction thereof.
Within the period of time stated in such notice, the offender shall permanently cease all violations. The city may revoke any permit for sewage disposal as a result of any violation of any provisions of this title.
B. Any person who shall continue any violation beyond the time limit provided for in subsection A of this section, shall be guilty of a misdemeanor, and on conviction thereof shall be fined as provided in the general penalty provisions of section 1-4-1 of this code. Each day in which any such violation shall continue shall be deemed a separate offense. (Ord. 147, 1980; amd. Ord. 182, 1982; 2000 Code)
C. Any person violating any of the provisions of this title shall become liable to the city by reason of such violation.
D. Notwithstanding any other penalty for violation in this title, violation of any provisions in this title can, at the option of the city, result in discontinuance of service as set forth in section 8-2-12 of this title. (Ord. 147, 1980; amd. Ord. 182, 1982)
