Permits for placement of personal wireless telecommunication facilities in right-of-way within the village are required. Except as otherwise provided for in this subchapter, the procedures for the application for, approval of, and revocation of such a permit must be in compliance with village permit application requirements in Ch. 117, Construction of Utility Facilities in the Public Rights-of-Way.
Any applications must demonstrate compliance with the requirements of this section. Unless otherwise provided by franchise, license, or similar agreement, or federal, state or local law, all applications for permits pursuant to this section must be accompanied by a fee in the amount of no less than $3,000. The application fee will reimburse the village for regulatory and administrative costs with respect to the work being performed.
