351.99 PENALTY.

   Parking Violations: Waiver.
   (a)   Each owner or operator of a vehicle who violates any provision of Chapter 351, except §§ 351.04(d) and 351.13, may waive for a lesser amount, the parking violation by paying to the Municipality the amount as hereinafter set forth:
      (1)   Within five days of the date when the notice was attached to such vehicle, pay $10 at the Police Department.
      (2)   Within ten days of the date when the notice was attached to such vehicle, pay $20 at the Police Department.
      (3)   Within 30 days from the date when the notice was attached to such vehicle, pay $40 at the Police Department.
   A waiver shall be paid (if the owner or operator so elects) for each attached notice of a parking violation. A waiver payment shall be effective as payment of penalty for and in full satisfaction of each violation notice.
 
   (b)   Each owner or operator of a vehicle who violates a provision of § 351.04(d) or § 345.06 may waive such violation by paying $20 to the Municipality at the Police Department within five days of the date when the notice was attached to such vehicle; or pay $40 at the Police Department within 30 days of the date when the notice was attached to such vehicle.
 
   (c)   Each and every notice of violation attached to a vehicle on any one day while such vehicle remains parked beyond the allowed period shall constitute notice of and render the owner or operator of the vehicle liable for separate violations.
 
   (d)   The failure of the owner or operator of a vehicle to pay the parking violation waiver as provided herein, within the times set forth above, shall render the owner or operator subject to the penalties as provided in § 303.99.
