305.09 TRAFFIC CONTROL FILE.

   (a)   There is hereby established a traffic control file which shall be prepared and kept current by the City Manager or his designee.

   (b)   The file maintained shall constitute the permanent and official record of street and area designations and changes made in conformity with all applicable sections of this chapter of the Traffic Code and all future changes made by ordinance thereafter. Such additional duplicate files may be maintained as Council or the City Manager deems advisable.

   (c)   The traffic control file shall contain, at a minimum, the following information:

      (1)   Serial number, in chronological order,

      (2)   Type of street or area designation,

      (3)   Description of subject street or area,

      (4)   Number and date or ordinance authorized by §§ 305.06 and 305.07,

      (5)   Date proper signs and markings were erected,

      (6)   Date recorded upon traffic control map.
