(a) Pursuant to Charter Section 6.01, the City Manager is hereby authorized to appoint a director for the Department of Public Service with the advice and consent of Council.
(b) Such Director shall perform all duties as is required by Section 129.01(b), and such other duties as may be assigned by the City Manager.
(c) The Director appointed hereunder shall serve at the will of the City Manager.
(d) The Director as appointed hereunder shall receive such compensation as shall be provided for by Council from time to time by ordinance or under the City personnel rules.
