7-2-3: STREET NAMES AND HOUSE NUMBERS:
   A.   House Numbering System: First Street and Main Avenue shall be designated as the major vertical and horizontal axes, respectively; with street numbering commencing with one hundred (100) for buildings on the north and west sides of the streets, and one hundred one (101) for structures on the east and south sides of the streets, progressing accordingly with each block change.
Buildings on the north and west sides of the streets shall be given even numbers and buildings on the east and south side be given odd numbers.
   B.   Directional Designation: Buildings facing an east-west street, on the east half of the vertical axis (First Street), shall have an "East" designation; on the west half a "West" designation. And accordingly, buildings on the north half of the horizontal axis (Main Avenue) facing a north-south street shall have a "North" designation, and buildings on the south side of the axis shall have a "South" designation.
   C.   T-Intersections: At T-intersections, the block number changes according to the corresponding block on the other side of the street.
   D.   Curving Streets: Street numbering and directional location of curving streets shall continue to follow designations off Main Street (i.e., check 11th Street numbering system).
   E.   Block Designations: Where there are currently no existing side streets to designate block endings and where houses are present, new blocks will be designated every two hundred fifty feet (250').
   F.   Noncontinuous Roads: At deadend, circular or other noncontinuous roads, buildings will be numbered with directional and odd-even numbering changing at the axis of symmetry crossing the road entrance.
   G.   Street Map: For illustrative purposes, a street map of Challis, corresponding with the aforementioned numbering system, is attached to Resolution No. 54 and herein referenced as "Exhibit A". (Res. 54, 7-27-82)
