7-2-1: DEDICATION OF STREETS AND ALLEYS; PLAT OF CITY:
The city council hereby dedicates to the public for its use and benefit all the following described streets, avenues and alleys situated in the city, which property is described as follows:
1st Street, fifty nine feet (59') in width; 2nd Street, sixty feet (60') in width; 3rd Street, fifty nine and seven-tenths feet (59.7') in width; 4th Street, fifty six and four-tenths feet (56.4') in width; 5th Street, fifty five and four-tenths feet (55.4') in width; 6th Street, sixty feet (60') in width; 7th Street, fifty four feet (54') in width; 8th, 9th, 10th, 11th, 12th and 13th Streets, each sixty feet (60') in width; and Bluf Avenue, North Avenue, Main Avenue, South Avenue and Border Avenue, each eighty feet (80') in width; Pleasant Avenue seventy six feet (76') in width; Valley Avenue seventy five feet (75') in width; Butte Avenue seventy eight feet (78') in width; and alleys in blocks 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 23, 24, 25, 26, 27, 28, 29, 30, 31, 32, 33, 34, 35, 36, 37, 38, 39, 40, 41, 42, 43, 44, 45, 46, 47, 48, 49, 50, 51, 52, 53, 54, 55, 56, 57, 58, 59, 60, 61, 62, 63, 64, 65, 66, 67, 68, 69, 70, 71, 72, 73, 74, 75, 76, 77, 78, 79, 80, 81, 82 each twenty feet (20') in width; and alleys in blocks 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18, 19, 20 and 22 each seventeen feet (17') in width as shown by the records and plat of the townsite of Challis, Custer County, State of Idaho now on file in the recorder's office of Custer County, State of Idaho.
The original plat of the townsite of Challis, Custer County, state of Idaho, now the city of Challis, was made by Richard H. Browne in the year 1881 and a copy now on file in the recorder's office of Custer County, state of Idaho, was made by A.C. Bomar which plat was filed in said recorder's office at eleven forty five o'clock (11:45) A.M., January 9, 1896, embracing: the west half of the northwest quarter of Section thirty three (33) and the east half of the northeast quarter of Section thirty two (32) Township fourteen (14) North range nineteen (19) east.
Said plat of the townsite of Challis, Idaho, as above described, is hereby accepted and adopted by the city council as the plat of the city, together with plats filed in the recorder's office of Custer County, Idaho, December 26, 1908. Said plats were drawn and made by Valentine Mailzer, and being the West and North Side additions to the original plat of the Townsite of Challis, Idaho, as above described, now the City of Challis, Idaho, said plats of the North and West side additions embrace the following described lots, pieces and parcels of land: West half of the Northeast quarter of section thirty two (32), Township fourteen (14) Range Nineteen (19) east; Southeast quarter of the Southeast quarter of Section twenty nine (29); Southwest quarter of the Southwest quarter of Section twenty eight (28), Township fourteen (14) north range nineteen (19) east as appears from the plats of the City now on file in the Recorder's office of the County of Custer, State of Idaho.
