The term of the three resident members shall be three years, provided that the term of one of the members appointed to the first Parking Commission shall be for one year and one of the members to the first Commission shall be for two years. In the event that a vacancy occurs during the term of any member, a successor shall be appointed by the Mayor for the unexpired portion of that term. Council's representative shall serve a term to be set by Council upon appointment.
