All employees except part-time laborers working a full-time summer schedule in the Service Department may elect to receive compensatory time off instead of paid overtime. Compensatory time may be accumulated to a maximum of eighty (80) hours. Approval for the use of compensatory time shall be obtained by the employee from the respective department head for use during a period which will not unduly disrupt or interfere with the normal operation of that department. Cash payment will be made to an employee for unused compensatory time only upon the occasion of that employee’s separation from service with the Village.
