Council may when hiring employees, as a condition of employment, authorize any amount of vacation, up to the maximum allowed in Section 149.01
and the transfer of accumulated sick leave, up to the maximum allowed in Section 149.02
. The employee must provide a letter from their former employer indicating the amount of sick leave credit accumulated.
