A. A floodplain review board is hereby established to hear and decide appeals and requests for variances from the requirements of this chapter. The city of Casa Grande board of adjustment is hereby designated as the floodplain review board for purposes of this article.
B. Any variance request referred to the floodplain review board by the floodplain board pursuant to Section 15.40.710.B shall be placed upon the next available agenda for which required public notification can be made, but in no case more than forty-five days from receipt of the referral. The floodplain review board shall make a decision on the variance within seventy-five days of referral from the floodplain board. Failure to meet this requirement shall result in the variance to be deemed denied.
