§ 111.020  CLASSIFICATION; FEE; LIMITATION.
   Every person engaged in the retail sale of alcoholic liquor in the city shall pay an annual license fee. Such licenses shall be divided into the following five classes.
   (A)   Class A retail license. This shall authorize the retail sale of alcoholic liquor on the premises specified for consumption on the premises, as well as other retail sales of such liquor. The annual fee for such license shall be $800; provided, however, a fee of $450 shall be added for a Sunday license. There shall be a limit of 12 Class A licenses issued.
   (B)   Class B liquor store license. This shall authorize the retail sale of alcoholic liquor in sealed packages, but not for consumption on the premises. The annual license fee for such a license shall be $550; provided, however, a fee of $450 shall be added for a Sunday license.
   (C)   Class C clubs. Class C licenses shall authorize the sale of alcoholic liquor by clubs for consumption on the premises where sold and shall be issued only to those not-for-profit organizations which qualify under the term “club”, as defined in this chapter. The annual license fee shall be $300 per club; provided, however, a fee of $450 shall be added for a Sunday license.
   (D)   Class D winemaker and winery license. This license is to be issued to wineries and winemakers to conduct any business authorized by the state’s Liquor Control Act being 235 ILCS 5/1-1 et seq., which includes, but is not limited to, manufacture, importation in bulk, storage, distribution and sale of wine. The annual license fee shall be $1,000.
   (E)   Class E licenses; one-day. Upon application, the Liquor Commissioner is authorized to issue a Class E license to any licensee and any civic or religious organization which keeps or desires to keep any place selling or offering for sale, or in any manner dealing in any alcoholic liquors. The fee for such license shall be for the sale of alcoholic liquors, the sum of $100 for a period of one day. The hours shall be established by the City Council if they are different than § 111.040 of this chapter.
