(A) No person shall case or knowingly permit or allow, on premises owned, occupied or controlled by him or her in the city, any open burning of garbage, trash, refuse, rubber, oil, paper, wood or other combustible material, or cause or so allow any such burning in a chamber not specifically designed for that purpose in accordance with regulations of the state’s Environmental Protection Agency during the times which burning is not allowed.
(B) Burning shall only be allowed upon the following exceptions and during the following stated times. Citizens may burn papers, boxes and small branches in approved containers on the first and third Saturday of each month from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
