§ 90.010  ANIMALS AND THE LIKE IN THE CITY.
   (A)   Certain prohibitions. Except as otherwise provided in this chapter, no person shall keep within the city any cattle, cows, horses, sheep, swine, goats, chickens, ducks, turkeys, geese, rabbits or other livestock.
   (B)   Exceptions.
      (1)   This section shall not apply in areas of the city that are zoned agricultural in nature, nor shall this section apply to livestock brought in to the city for the purpose of being shipped out of the city.
      (2)   Landowners may apply for a special use permit so that they may keep animals listed in divisions (A) above on their property pursuant to the terms contained in §§ 90.145 through 90.147 of this chapter.
   (C)   Powers of Police Chief. The Police Chief shall have the power to issue an order prohibiting the keeping of any animal, fowl or bird which is deemed to pose a health hazard to the general public.
