§ 10.01 ADOPTION OF COUNTY CODE.
   The ordinances and resolutions of a general and permanent nature, adopted by the County Commissioners of Carroll County, as revised and codified by the Department of the County Attorney as Titles I through XV and the Code of Public Local Laws of Carroll County, as amended, are hereby approved, adopted, ordained and enacted as the "Code of Public Local Laws and Ordinances of Carroll County", hereinafter known and referred to as the "County Code".

§ 10.02 CODE SUPERSEDES PRIOR INCONSISTENT LEGISLATION.
   (A)   This chapter and the County Code shall supersede all inconsistent general and permanent ordinances enacted prior to the 2013 Edition of the County Code.
   (B)   The chapters as codified shall supersede the ordinances as adopted, except for the effective date of ordinances or amendments.
   (C)   No changes of any sort were made to the Code of Public Local Laws of Carroll County as adopted by the General Assembly (Titles 1 through 14).

§ 10.03 EFFECTIVE DATE.
   The 2000 Edition of the Code took effect on January 3, 2001. The 2004 Edition of the Code took effect on December 1, 2004. The 2013 Edition of the County Code shall take effect on May 1, 2014.
