§ 9-46 Permits Required for Street Cuts.
   (a)   No street will be cut without first obtaining a permit to do so from the City. Anytime a street must be cut for a connection with the waterworks system, the person who obtained the permit to make the cut shall be charged an additional cost equal to that required and necessitated to restore the street surface to its original condition prior to making the cut. This restoration must be performed by the person making the cut and shall be done to specification suitable to the City and to the complete satisfaction of the City. The additional cost will be returned if the street is restored properly by the permit holder.

   (b)   Section 8-65 of this Code addresses Regulations and Permit Requirements for Excavation in Streets.
   (c)   Permits shall require the posting of a $2,000 bond or the depositing of 10% of said bond payable as a $200 cashiers check with the City prior to the commencement of any work.
