(a) Upon the following streets and parts of streets and in those alleys described herein, vehicular traffic shall move only in the indicated direction when proper signs indicating the direction of traffic are erected and maintained at every intersection where movement in the opposite direction is prohibited:
(1) Alleys:
a) The alley north of Main Street or S.R. #234 shall be one-way west from Range Line Road or S.R. #431 to the east curb line of First Avenue, NW. (B-1)
b) The north- south alley south of Main Street between Rangeline Road and 1st Avenue SE shall be one-way from Main Street to the east-west alley between Rangeline Road and 1st Avenue SE.
c) The north- south alley between 1st Ave NW and 2nd Ave NW shall be southbound only between 1st St NW and 2nd St NW.
d) The north- south alley between N. Rangeline Road and 1st Ave NE shall be southbound only between 3rd St NE and 5th St NE.
e) The north- south alley between N. Rangeline Road and 1st Ave NE shall be southbound only between 1st St NE and 2nd St NE.
f) The north- south alley between 1st Ave NE and 2nd Ave NE shall be southbound only between 1st St NE and 5th St NE.
g) The north- south alley between 2nd Ave NE and 3rd Ave NE shall be northbound only between 2nd St NE and 3rd St NE.
h) Reserved.
(2) Streets:
a) No person operating a vehicle shall exit into or on East Main Street from the east entrance of the Carmel High School parking area between the hours of 7:00 a.m. and 8:00 a.m., and 2:30 p.m. and 3:30 p.m. (Ord. D-479, § A, 3-3-86)
b) 2nd Avenue N.W. shall be one-way northbound from its intersection with Main Street to its intersection with 1st Street N.W.
c) 3rd Avenue S.W. shall be one-way northbound from its intersection with 1st Street S.W. to its intersection with Main Street.

(b) Driving in the wrong direction than that posted is prohibited.
(c) Driving in the wrong direction from that posted on any Carmel Clay Schools property is prohibited.
(d) Emerging from alleys or driveways. Any person operating a bicycle and emerging from any alley, driveway, or building located within the City's corporate limits shall, upon approaching any abutting sidewalk, yield the right-of-way to any pedestrians approaching on such sidewalk, and shall, upon entering any roadway abutting such alley, driveway,or building, yield the right-of-way to all vehicles then approaching on such roadway.
