Any ordinance that has been introduced into business by the Common Council and has failed to pass the Common Council vote may not be re-introduced into business at any Common Council meeting for three months from the date on which the ordinance failed to pass, except with the consent of at least 70% of the Councilors then present, unless an earlier re-introduction is required by law.
