(a) The City may enter into written agreements with cable television companies to serve the City.
(b) Such agreements must be approved by ordinance and shall be binding upon the parties as to the percentage of annual basic gross subscriber revenues to be received by the City, pole rentals, furnishing of toll free or extension line numbers to customers, safety standards, inspections, service requirements, indemnification, bond requirements, conditions of street occupancy, complaint procedures, rate procedures, assignment procedures, construction standards, access standards, and other related areas.
(c) Such agreements, upon the passage of an appropriate ordinance, shall be kept on file in the office of the Controller.
