(a) Each Department of the City shall charge the following fees, which fees shall not exceed the fees allowed by Indiana state law.
1) Copying of accident Reports | $5 per report |
2) Other copies | $.10 (B&W); $.25 (Color) |
3) Photo (4 x 6 or 3 x 5 color) | The greater of $1 per photo or actual copying cost |
4) Video Cassette Copies | The greater of $10 or actual copying cost |
5) Cassette Tape Copies | The greater of $5 or actual copying cost |
6) Duplicate of a computer tape, computer disk, microfilm, law enforcement recording, or similar analogous record system | “Direct cost,” as defined by Indiana Code Section 5-14-3-2(d), as the same may be amended from time to time, of supplying the information in that form, not to exceed $150 for a copy of a law enforcement recording

(b) When applicable, the actual cost of postage shall be added to the fees detailed in subsection (a) above in accordance with current postage rates.
(c) The City's fiscal officer is hereby directed to notify Departments of the actual average cost from time to time.
(d) All funds received by a Department for any of the fees detailed in subsection (a) above shall be delivered to the Clerk-Treasurer's office for deposit and credit to the appropriate Department account, except that funds collected by the Carmel Police Department pursuant to this section shall be deposited into the Law Enforcement Continuing Education Fund.
