1-11-3: WRITTEN APPEAL BY OFFICER OR EMPLOYEE WHO CLAIMS RETALIATORY ACTION WAS TAKEN:
   (A)   A local governmental officer or employee who claims a reprisal or retaliatory action was taken against him for disclosing information concerning improper governmental action may file a written appeal pursuant to Nevada Revised Statutes chapter 281 with the city clerk. The appeal must be:
      {1).   Filed within sixty (60) calendar days after the date the alleged reprisal or retaliatory action took place;
      {1).   Filed within two (2) years of the disclosure of improper governmental action; and
      {1).   Submitted on a form provided by the city clerk.
   (B)   The hearing officer may reject a form that is incomplete or otherwise deficient as insufficient to commence the appeal. (Ord. 230, 5-27-2009)
