5-1-15: REVOCATION:
Whenever it shall appear to the board of councilmen that any trade, business, occupation, calling or pursuit for which a license has been granted is being conducted in such a manner as to be detrimental to the public peace, health or morals, the council, at any regular, or at any special meeting, convened and held for that purpose, may, by a majority vote and on which the mayor may cast the deciding vote if a tie otherwise exists, revoke, discontinue and cancel said license and declare the same to be of no further force and effect. Thereafter it shall be unlawful for the licensee, under said license, to maintain or conduct such business under said license, or at all, and provided further, that if any licensee of the city is convicted of a violation of any federal, state or municipal prohibition law or ordinance, the license granted to such licensee shall, under the provisions of this chapter, be automatically canceled, revoked and discontinued by reason of conviction.
