8-1-1: ADOPTION OF FIRE CODE:
   A.   Code Adopted By Reference: The international fire code, 2003 edition, is hereby adopted by reference except for such provisions as are specifically hereinafter deleted, modified or amended and except when the city code is more restrictive, such as, but not limited to, subsection 4-1-1E of the city code. (Ord. 2013-12)
   B.   Compliance With Chapter: Every existing building, structure or part thereof shall comply with the requirements of this chapter.
   C.   Copy On File: One copy of the international fire code, including all amendments made in this section shall be kept on file in the office of the city clerk.
   D.   Amendments: The following sections are hereby amended from the international fire code, 2003 edition, adopted in subsection A of this section:
      Chapter 1 Administration: Section 101.1 Title Insert: City of Carbondale.
