(A) It shall be unlawful within the city to solicit door to door for property repairs or improvements, including, but not limited to, driveway repair, resealing, chimney repair and roof repair without first obtaining a license therefor. Licensing under this section shall require proof of current insurance. Licensees shall also provide a warranty, limited or general, regarding work performed. (Ord. 1492, 12-19-1995)

(C) Door to door sales of an intangible nature, for example book sales, magazine subscriptions, etc., will be permitted only from ten o'clock (10:00) A.M. to seven o'clock (7:00) P.M. and only after a proper license is obtained. The police department shall utilize an application requiring the information sought by subsections 3-2-2(A)1 through (A)8 of this chapter.
(D) Nothing contained in this chapter shall preclude delivery of goods purchased on order, nor shall it apply to school activities, school clubs or not for profit charitable fund drives. (Ord. 1492, 12-19-1995)
