§ 98.07 STANDS, BOOTHS FOR PURPOSE OF SELLING PROHIBITED.
   It shall be unlawful for any person to erect or maintain any stand, booth, table, or other thing upon any sidewalk or street of the city for the purpose of selling or offering for sale any goods, wares, merchandise, fruit, vegetables, fish, meats, or other commodities. However, those stands or displays may be erected or maintained so long as the stand or display is immediately anterior to a merchant's storefront and occupies no more than one-third of the width of the sidewalk, provided that temporary exceptions to the requirements of this section may be granted upon application to and approval by the City Manager.
