(A) Requests. All requests for preliminary evaluation shall contain the following data, most of which can be shown on a preliminary site plan.
(1) Type and location of proposed development.
(2) Location of all proposed driveways, turning lanes on adjacent highways or streets, and internal traffic lanes and parking facilities within the development area. This information shall be sufficiently complete to allow determination of dimensions, the direction of traffic flow and restrictions, caused by plantings, curbing, medians, walls, signing, etc., to traffic,
(3) Highway pavement widening, additional lane provisions, relocatings or other improvements considered necessary to the efficient operation of the proposed development.
(4) Proposed traffic signal locations.
(5) Preliminary drainage data, including:
(a) A contour map of the affected area.
(b) The total property area.
(c) The total paved area.
(d) The total roofed area.
(B) Shopping Center Development. These requests shall include the following additional data:
(1) Gross leasable floor area, in square feet.
(2) Number of parking spaces, including employee parking area, if separated.
(3) Anticipated total daily trips inbound and outbound during an average 24-hour period. Special holiday shopping traffic shall not be used for this estimate.
(4) Estimated hourly shopping center traffic volumes arriving and departing during each of the following hourly periods.
(a) The normal highway peak hour, usually 5:00 to 6:00 p.m.
(b) The peak outbound shopper hour, usually the closing hour.
(5) Distribution of shopping center traffic, by percentage of total daily trips, via major highways from origin to shopping center.
(6) Distribution of shopping center traffic via individual driveways. Hourly volumes shall be shown for each of the hours mentioned above.
(C) Industrial Development. These requests shall include the following additional data:
(1) Total number of employee trips for an average workday.
(2) The time of each shift change and the total trips, inbound and outbound, for each shift change.
(3) Total number of other trips, for deliveries, maintenance, salesmen, visitors, etc., for an average workday.
(4) Distribution of traffic, by percentage of total daily trips, via major highways from origin to industrial site.
