§ 114.25 DEFINITIONS.
   For the purpose of this subchapter the following definitions shall apply unless the context clearly indicates or requires a different meaning.
   DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH. The division of the City/County Health Department.
   MOBILE FOOD SERVICE OPERATION. Any operation which is kept or maintained for the purpose of preparing or serving meals or lunches for a consideration, and designed for mobile use by foot, wagon, automotive vehicle, or any other type of conveyance, from place to place, or street to street.
   PEDDLER. Any person, whether a resident of the city or not, traveling by foot, wagon, automotive vehicle, or any other type of conveyance, from place to place, or from street to street, carrying, conveying, or transporting goods, wares, merchandise, farm products, or provisions, offering and exposing the same for sale, shall sell, or offer the same for sale from a wagon, automotive vehicle, or other vehicle, or other vehicle conveyance. Provided however, that this definition shall not be deemed to include residential sales and solicitations as provided for in §§ 114.40 through 114.47, and further provided, that the definition shall not be deemed to include any person engaged in the sale of dairy and bakery products by traveling over regularly established routes and transacting business on private property. PEDDLER shall include hawker and huckster.
   PERSON. The singular and the plural and shall also include any person, firm, or corporation.
