Whenever the Law Director is of the opinion that a scrap yard is being operated or maintained in violation of any of the provisions of this chapter, he may apply, in the name of the city, to a court of competent jurisdiction, alleging the violation complained of an praying for an injunction or other proper relief. In such a case the court may order such scrap yard abated as a nuisance or make such other order as may be proper. An action brought under this section shall not be deemed to be a bar to a prosecution under § 110.99(B).
