§ 34.51 WATER DISTRIBUTION FOREMAN.
   (A)   There shall be the position of water distribution foreman.
   (B)   The water distribution foreman shall be in charge of the water distribution crew. The duties of the crew shall consist of the repair and maintenance of all city-owned water mains and service lines, either inside or outside the corporation limits; the changing, repairing or replacing of water meters as needed; the making of all new water taps upon the city-owned system, and the discontinuation of service, either by order of the water consumer of billed charges. The crew shall operate, repair, and maintain the booster pump stations established in the city water system. The foreman shall order all materials and parts needed for such operation and maintenance. He shall be responsible for the maintenance and repair of all mobile pieces of equipment and all other tools owned by the Division of Water. When requested by the Superintendent of Sewage Treatment, Water Supply, and Treatment, he shall assign, as required, the men needed to make major repairs and aid in maintaining water supply, and treatment devices, whereby an uninterrupted supply of water may reasonably be maintained. He shall have the assistance of the City Engineer in determining velocities, pressures, volumes, and capacities of any needed enlargement or extension of the present system. The City Engineer shall draw plans and specifications to fulfill such needs as are required.
