§ 32.08 DRUG LAW ENFORCEMENT: SEIZURE OF CONTRABAND.
   (A)   Law enforcement officials of the City shall be permitted to engage in activities associated with under cover operations necessary to bring about criminal prosecutions in accordance with laws of the State of Ohio and of the City. With respect to activities associated with drug law enforcement, undercover operations, seizure of contraband and forfeiture of property, the Mayor is authorized acting by and through the law enforcement officials of the City to expend funds necessary to pay the costs of protracted or complex investigations or prosecutions, to provide reasonable technical training or expertise, to provide matching funds to obtain federal grants to aid law enforcement or for such other purposes permissible by law determined to be appropriate to carry out the activities outlined herein.
   (B)   Procedures for the seizure of contraband and disposition of property related thereto as set forth in Ohio R.C. Chapters 2733, 2933 and Section 2933.43 shall govern law enforcement officials of the City in the performance of their duties as outlined herein.
   (C)   Covert activities by law enforcement officials of the City financed through the General Revenue Fund, the Law Enforcement Fund and the Drug Law Enforcement Fund shall generally comply where applicable with procedures set forth by the Auditor of the State through "Management Advisory Service" Bulletin Nos. 87-18 and 81-7.
