§ 15-147 BRIDGES, CULVERTS AND LOW WATER CROSSINGS.
   1.   Bridges, culverts and low water crossings of primary benefit to the developer, as determined by the Planning Commission, shall be constructed at the full expense of the developer without reimbursement from municipal or county government. The sharing of expense, as determined by the Planning Commission, will be fixed by special agreement between municipal or county government and the developer.
   2.   Bridges, culverts or low water crossings shall be provided where watercourses cross continuous streets or alleys, and shall generally be sized and constructed to accommodate the 100-year frequency rain, based on the drainage area involved.
   3.   Design of bridges, low water crossings and culverts shall conform to municipal construction specifications.

Notes:
   a.   This standard shall apply to paved alleys, where required.
   b.   Residential alleys shall be 20 feet in width; commercial alleys shall be 30 feet in width.
   c.   Alley shall slope from the outer edge to the centerline or centerline to outer edge at one-fourth-inch fall per foot, as indicated.
   d.   Base shall vary in accordance with local conditions, including soil tests.
