§ 1-53 ANIMAL CONTROL OFFICER.
   1.   The Mayor, with the approval of the City Council, may appoint a person, persons or other entity to serve as the Animal Control Officer(s) for the city; said Officer(s) shall be appointed for an indefinite term, and may be removed by said City Council.
   2.   The salary of the Animal Control Officer(s) shall be established by the City Council, and may be either on a salary basis or a contractual fee system related to enforcement activities.
