Any person who violates any provision of this chapter or of any ordinance, code or standard adopted by reference by this chapter, or maintains or permits to continue, any public nuisance as defined by this chapter, shall be guilty of an offense and, upon conviction thereof, shall be fined in any sum not to exceed the limits established in Chapter 11, Article 3, § 11-50 of this code of ordinances. Every day upon which a violation continues shall be deemed a separate offense.
