§ 7-21 CHARGES FOR FIRE CALLS.
      1.   The city shall charge the following fees to persons or property owners involved, for fire calls outside the corporate boundaries of the city.
      a.   Those persons or businesses contracting with the city for Fire Department services outside the city limits shall be charged the following fees.
         (1)   Those individuals contracting for services for single-family dwellings and agricultural property shall pay $100 per year.
         (2)   Those businesses contracting for services for non-agricultural commercial property shall pay $500 per year.
         (3)   Said contract shall expire on January 1 of the year following the execution of said contract. Said contract shall not apply to unreported controlled burns and/or unattended controlled burns. Fees for those burns shall be in addition to the contract fee and in the amount as set forth in subsection 1 .b. below.
      b.   Those persons who receive the Fire Department services, who have not previously entered into a contract or agreement with the city, or who have been responsible for an unreported controlled burn and/or unattended controlled burn, shall pay a fee as follows:
         (1)   Five dollars per mile per vehicle for each vehicle dispatched to and from the dispatched location; and
         (2)   One hundred twenty-five dollars per hour or any fraction thereof per vehicle for each vehicle dispatched from the time such vehicle leaves the fire station and returns.
   2.   Mileage and distances shall be based on actual miles traveled. The city shall also have the right to prepare supplemental billing costs for use of special equipment or materials.
