§ 1-2 FORM OF GOVERNMENT.

The municipal government provided for the city shall be the “Aldermanic” form of government. All powers of the municipality shall be exercised in the manner prescribed by this code of ordinances, future ordinances or state law; provided, that, this code and all future ordinances are not repugnant to the State Constitution and laws.
